In 2008 Huiyin started the production of vacuum receivers for parabolic concentrators. The production of receivers was moved from Beijing to Weihai in 2010.
Huiyin has produced in its facilities over 600 MW of receivers for commercial power plants around the world, including molten salt project. Huiyin is the only receiver producer that has molten salt tube technology. At the moment Huiyin is supplying to a 1GW project
Huiyin has strong government partners including the Chinese Ministry of Finance, The China Development Bank, The State Development and Investment Corporation and the Belgium Ministry of Public Enterprises.
Huiyin bankable superior receivers with outperforming technology are more durable and offer an extended life time and are the first serviceable receivers in the market.
Huiyin excellence in production, proven high volume capability and ability to develop new products for its clients make it today the preferred CSP receiver supplier of the industry.

The Ven family
Huiyin is a Chinese company founded by the Ven family from Belgium.
Livien VEN, an automation engineer and father of Juha VEN started activities in the solar thermal industry as early as 1978. Livien had developed a process computer and was successful in selling these to the steel, glass and power industry in Europe. This time also saw the first energy crisis in Europe and many companies were looking at solar energy. For Livien harnessing the suns energy was all about process control.
Juha has been all of his active career involved in production of solar thermal components and systems. His first CSP patents date back to 1981. By 1985 the first vacuum receivers were being constructed and tested in demonstration plants.
In 1992 Juha founded Solel with his brother Kari. This company was sold to Siemens, creating an immense value to the Solel shareholders and although the product has not seen any technical improvements for over 10 years is still the main supplier of vacuum receivers for parabolic troughs.
In 1997 Mr. Ven developed a receiver including secondary optics and an advanced air stable selective surface for a large fresnel systems. In august 2000 Mr. Ven patented this new design.
Mr. Ven and Mrs Kang created Huiyin in 2002. The company was originally in Beijing and grew fast during its first years.
Sept 2014 Mr. Ven received the China Friendship reward from Premier Li Keqian for his contribution in the CSP industry and for bringing in high temperature receiver tube technology to China.
